A man has been charged with murdering his father after a body was discovered wrapped in bin bags in a field near the M62.
Frank Garner, 62, from Old Goole, East Yorkshire, was reported missing to Humberside Police on July 30, 2005.

His clothed body was found last month in a field about a mile south of the village of East Cowick, East Yorkshire, by a man walking his dog.

Police said the remains might have been there for more than two years.

Detectives arrested Mr Garner's son on Thursday and charged him with murder on Saturday night.

Richard Garner, 30, of Morley Street, Goole, will appear in Beverley Magistrates' Court on Monday, Humberside Police said.
