Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour, which has a restaurant in the Welsh city’s Mumbles area, opened its doors at 9.30am and was met with an influx of customers.
Director Helen Brown said: “In a word, it’s been manic. The weather has been fantastic - which is not only great for business but also for schoolkids on half-term.
“We were busy the moment we opened up this morning. When the weather is this good, parents will even allow their kids to have ice cream for breakfast.”
There have been sunny skies over Belfast and Edinburgh too.
