Plant of the week: Vinca minor
The acceptable face of a ground-cover plant. This is Vinca minor, the Periwinkle, a plant with delightful blue/purple flowers (there is a white form as well) which can take shade with sun.
V minor spreads but it's far more gardener-friendly than its bigger brother, V major. Variegated foliage adds to its attraction.
But beware, it's poisonous.
