Rising Yorkshire jewellery star nominated for national industry award
Olivia Stoddart, 28, a sales team leader at wedding and engagement ring specialist Jessica Flinn, in Sheffield, has been nominated for Retail Jeweller’s Rising Stars 30 Under 30 2023. The annual programme rounds up 30 of the brightest talents across the UK, aged 30 or under, working across all areas of the jewellery industry, from manufacture and design through to retail, marketing and PR.
Ms Stoddart started her career at Jessica Flinn as a sales and design assistant.

Hide AdShe studied French and Spanish studied at Oxford Brookes and joined Jessica Flinn with no prior jewellery experience in March 2021.
Jessica Flinn-Allen, chief executive and founder of Jessica Flinn, said “When Olivia joined in March 2021, she blew the team away with how quickly she took to her role, gaining industry knowledge in an extremely short time frame and quickly becoming an invaluable member of staff.
“Despite taking some time off to recover from surgery during her first year with the business, Olivia came back with as much gusto as ever and has risen up the ranks to become the sales team leader.
“She has developed her knowledge and skills drastically during this time, proving herself to be a fantastic salesperson as well as a role model for her colleagues.

Jessica Flinn, which is located on the corner of Tapton House Road and Manchester Road, is known for its unusual gemstones, such as salt and pepper diamonds, sapphires, tourmalines and spinels.
The company recently launched a new concept showroom in Sheffield inspired by Japanese dining.
