Rotherham firm recruiting for hundreds of jobs after winning NHS face mask contract
Online printing giant, Bluetree Group, has secured a contract to provide 1.7 million medical-grade Type IIR masks a day, providing protection for frontline health and care workers.
The company, in Wath Upon Dearne, decided to diversify in March following an appeal from the World Health Organisation to manufacturers to increase face mask production.

Hide AdThe firm, which employs over 350 staff, is recruiting for roles including machine operators, engineers, lab technicians and logistics professionals.
Director Adam Carnell said: “This contract gives us the opportunity to help produce millions more much-needed surgical masks for NHS and frontline workers using our specialist machinery and team of skilled machine operators.
“Our priority is ensuring those who need these items most get them, and we look forward to growing our exceptional team.”
The rapidly expanding company, which is investing £6.5m in new technology, had a turnover of £42m in 2018.

Hide AdThe Government has struck deals with around 30 UK companies to manufacture PPE as well as with over 100 suppliers.
Health Minister Jo Churchill said the response from Northern Powerhouse companies had been "phenomenal" in the drive to build more resilient, UK-based supply chains.
