National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline, which promotes preventative surgery, and Baton of Hope, dedicated to raising awareness and preventing suicide through community support and education, have teamed up for this heartfelt initiative.

It will shine a light on crucial issues such as men’s mental health, hereditary breast cancer, and suicide prevention, providing a platform for education and support.

Live entertainment will include Max Restaino and the first pubic performance of his song Check your Boobs - from forthcoming breast cancer awareness musical, Wendy's World, inspired by NHBCH founder Wendy Watson.

Men’s mental health, hereditary breast cancer and suicide prevention is also be the focus of new podcast series , Mother and Daughter Breast of Friends, sponsored by First Intuition Yorkshire, created by Wendy, of Chesterfield, and her radio presenter daughter, Becky Measures.

Becky and her mum both underwent a double mastectomy to avoid breast cancer, following deaths in their family from the disease.

Becky says of the Yorkshire Wildlife Park day they are honoured to partner with Baton of Hope, founded by former Sky News and BBC presenter/reporterMike McCarthy, who tragically lost his son to suicide in 2021.

She praised the generous support of sponsors Westfield Health, Graysons Solicitors, along with Cavendish Cancer Care.
