Incredible £4m Yorkshire home with its own lake up for grabs in latest Omaze prize draw

The latest Omaze prize draw house has been announced - and it’s an incredible £4m property in the stunning Yorkshire countryside.

The six-bedroom family home, in the quaint North Yorkshire village of Little Ouseburn, will be handed to the winner mortgage free, and comes with its own lake, tennis court and £155,000 worth of furnishings.

The winner will also be given £250,000 in cash and can choose to move in, sell up or rent it out, with estimates suggesting they would get between £5,000 and £7,000 a month in rent.

The beautiful property has been refurbished throughout, but also keeps its original character with period flagstones, historic beams and two original 18th-century fireplaces.

It also has a breakfast kitchen with French doors opening onto a Mediterranean-style loggia.

Omaze has guaranteed a donation of £1,000,000 for its charity partner Blood Cancer UK through the prize draw.

The ground floor of the home has a reception hall, drawing room, lounge, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, conservatory and potting shed, plus a boot room and utility room.

The first floor has a main bedroom with dressing room and en suite, five further bedrooms, one with its own en suite, a library and a family bathroom.

The grounds include a separate two-bedroom cottage with its own kitchen and living room, mature woodland, a lake, an orchard and a vegetable garden, alongside a tennis court, a paddock and an outdoor pizza oven.

Matt Pohlson, Founder and CEO of Omaze, said: "Everyone at Omaze is delighted to be partnering with Blood Cancer UK again for our latest house draw.

"By offering this incredible country home in North Yorkshire, plus £250,000 in cash, Omaze gives someone the chance to win a truly life-changing prize, while also raising vital funds for Blood Cancer UK's crucial work.

"The lucky winner will have several fantastic options available to them - moving into this beautiful home, renting it out for a significant extra income, or selling up to become a cash multi-millionaire. The choice is entirely theirs, and whatever they decide, it will change their lives forever.

"Thanks to the generosity of the Omaze Community, we've now raised well over £150 million for good causes across the UK."

Helen Rowntree, CEO of Blood Cancer UK, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with Omaze on their Million Pound House Draw for the third time.

“Thanks to the incredible Omaze community, we've already helped fund research that's improving the lives of people affected by blood cancer. But blood cancer remains the UK's fifth most common cancer and its third biggest cancer killer.

“This partnership gives us an opportunity to go further. Together, you’ll be helping fund pioneering clinical trials to help treat and beat the deadliest blood cancers. With your help, you'll be giving more people more time with their loved ones."

The prize draw for the home closes on October 25 for online entries and October 27 for postal entries.
