Dan Eastham: Police urge public to ring 999 if they spot missing man as search continues

Police have asked the public to ring 999 if they see a missing man from Yorkshire.

Dan Eastham, from Ripon, was last seen on Tuesday, June 24 at around 9am when he left the Sainsbury’s store on Main Street before walking off towards Ripon Cathedral.

The 47-year-old failed to turn up for work.

A friend reported him missing at 2.20pm after his car was found near the cathedral.

North Yorkshire Police said concerns are growing for his safety and asked that any sightings of Mr Eastham should be reported via 999.

Information that could assist the missing person inquiry should be reported on 101, option 4. Police have asked callers to quote reference NYP-25062024-0294 when providing details.

Mr Eastham is described as white, 6ft 2in tall with a dark trimmed beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, plain long-sleeved white t-shirt, jeans rolled up at the bottom and brown boots.
