Man charged with murdering the mother of his four children in Dewsbury

A man will appear in court charged with murdering the mother of his four children, police have said.

Wahib Albaradan, 35, is accused of killing a woman who has now been named as Salam Alshara, 27, at a house in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, on Sunday evening.

West Yorkshire Police said the couple are believed to have come to the UK in around 2020 and arrived in Dewsbury in 2021 with their four children.

Albaradan, of Dearnley Street, Dewsbury, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
