Police hunt rapist serving life sentence who has absconded from prison - call 999 if you see him

Police are hunting a rapist serving a life sentence after he absconded from prison.

Paul Marshall left HMP North Sea Camp on November 22 and police believe he may have travelled to Yorkshire. Although he was originally thought to be in the Nottingham and Mansfield area, it is now thought he may be in Doncaster.

Marshall was spotted in the city on November 30, and Lincolnshire Police has released images from footage which captured him in the Doncaster area.

A statement from the force said: “We are continuing to search for absconder Paul Marshall. Our investigation has led to the identification of footage we believe may be him (pictured below). The footage was captured in Doncaster.”

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Marshall is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on 999, quoting incident number 298 of November 22. Police advised members of the public not to approach Marshall if they see him.
