Police release shocking helmetcam video of biker being deliberately rammed by Fiat 500 in Yorkshire

South Yorkshire Police have released shocking helmetcam footage of a biker being rammed by suspected thieves in a stolen Fiat 500.

They said: “Yesterday (Thursday 10 November) it is reported that at around 11am a 48-year-old man was riding his red Honda motorcycle along Auckland Way in Sheffield when it is believed he was deliberately knocked off his bike by the driver of a grey Fiat 500.

“The driver of the car and their passengers were all reported to be wearing black balaclavas. Officers conducting enquiries believed the car to be stolen and displaying a false number plate.

“The victim was understandably shaken following the incident but did not suffer any physical injuries.

“Officers are keen to hear from anyone who knows the whereabouts of the vehicle, has dash-cam footage or any information that can assist with their enquiries.
