Quad biker left with serious head injuries after hit and run with BMW in Yorkshire

A quad biker was airlifted to hospital after being involved in a hit and run collision with a BMW.

Roads policing officers from South Yorkshire Police are now appealing for information following the crash in Denaby Main, near Doncaster, on April 27.

They said the black BMW 1 series was driving along Bolton Road before turning right onto Devon Court. While making the turn, the car hit a quad bike.

A 21-year-old male who was riding the quad bike was left with serious head injuries and airlifted to hospital, police said.

The BMW drove away from the scene and police are now trying to track them down.

A police spokesman said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, including anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage.

"We’d also like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision.”
