South Yorkshire Police officer shared 'personal and sensitive' photographs of people and crime scenes with 'inappropriate' comments
PC Michael Atkin will attend a misconduct hearing on Wednesday, February 3, where he will face the allegations against him.
A statement on the South Yorkshire Police website reads: "It is alleged that PC Atkin breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in that he took and shared a number of photographs whilst on duty, containing personal and sensitive information of members of the public, crime scenes and documentation.

Hide Ad"Many had a number of distasteful, inappropriate and unprofessional comments attached.
"The conduct of these matters was unprofessional, inappropriate and breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in particular the paragraphs relating to ‘Confidentiality’ and ‘Discreditable Conduct’."
