Double blow for drivers as two bridges close for repairs
Boothferry Bridge near Goole will close for 10 weeks on Monday, February 28, when East Riding Council begins a 1.2m maintenance project.
Diversions will be in place with most vehicles travelling on the M62 Ouse Bridge.

They will also run into delays and find their way across Selby Town Swing Bridge barred – because North Yorkshire County Council is carrying out its own programme of improvements.
The county council said it had chosen the timing of the work to "have the least possible impact on businesses", while East Riding Council said it had consulted with farmers and wanted to avoid summer and harvest.
Buses will be laid on for pedestrians who normally use either bridge, and arrangements are being made to transport mopeds and cyclists affected by the closure of Boothferry Bridge.
Shipping will be unaffected by either closure.
Boothferry Bridge was built in the 1920s to replace the ferry across the river.
