Dozens survive as plane crashes into steel works
Some 14 people were killed and four were missing after the plane crashed about six miles from the eastern city of Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar state Governor Francisco Rangel Gomez told reporters.
The French-built ATR-42 from the state airline Conviasa slammed into an area used by the state-run Sidor steel foundry, leaving its smashed fuselage among barrels and shipping containers.

Hide AdThe governor said the 33 people survived were being treated at hospitals.
The plane crashed shortly after take off about six miles from the eastern city of Puerto Ordaz at about 10am local time.
Transport minister Francisco Garces said said the plane was heading to Margarita Island when it crashed for reasons that were unclear.
