Fire breaks out at Leeds high rise block of flats
Fire crews have tackled a fire at a high rise block in Leeds this evening.
It was a cooker fire in a flat on the ninth floor of Poplar Mount at Bramley. The male occupier, aged 29, suffered slight smoke inhalation and was treated on scene by paramedics.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "The fire did not spread beyond this flat and was confined to the cooker."
