Ian Brown Leeds show: Fans 'walk out' of Leeds gig as The Stone Roses singer appears with no backing band
The Stone Roses singer appeared at the show – with tickets priced at £40 – without a backing band on Sunday night.
Ian Brown, 59, was the lead singer of The Stone Roses from their formation in 1983.
He began his solo career in 1996.

Hide AdMany fans took to social media to lament the decision to appear without a drummer or guitarist.
One said: “Ian Brown tonight turned up in Leeds with no band.
"Sang to backing tapes. £50 a ticket.”
Another added: “I’m a life long fan but it was bad.”
A Twitter user told how he left the show with his wife after half an hour of the set.
He said: “Me and my wife lasted 36 minutes exactly before walking out.
"I think the auto tune on the microphone lasted 3 songs.

Hide Ad"Real shame as I was looking forward to seeing him solo as only ever seen stone roses. No band at all was a let down.”
Footage from the show has been shared thousands of times across social media on Monday morning.
Other fans did enjoy themselves at the Leeds show on Sunday, however.
One said: “Loved seeing @ianbrownon the first night of his tour in Leeds tonight.”
Another added: “Thanks very much for a great night in Leeds last night, front & centre loved every minute.”
