A road in Rotherham today remains cliosed after a Lorry was swallowed feet under by a problem in the water mains. Pix - Alex Roebuck
A lorry sank into the road after the surface gave way in Cockhill Lane, Braithwell, between Rotherham and Doncaster in South Yorkshire yesterday.

The road was closed while arrangements were being made for the lorry to be hoisted free.
