Sun journalist in court over ‘stolen’ phone
Nick Parker, 52, of Twickenham, south west London, is accused of dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely a mobile telephone belonging to Labour MP Siobhain McDonagh, and of unauthorised access to computer material.
Ms McDonagh, who has represented Mitcham and Morden since 1997, allegedly had her mobile phone stolen from her car in Colliers Wood in south west London on October 17, 2010.

Hide AdThe alleged offences are said to have happened between October 17 and 21, 2010.
Westminster magistrates sent the case for a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on November 22.
Michael Ankers, 29, did not enter a plea when he later appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court charged with stealing a mobile phone of unknown value.
The 29-year-old spoke only to state his name and age, and that he is of no fixed address and he “did not wish to plead”.
The case was sent for trial at the Old Bailey and a preliminary hearing on November 22.
