Star Wars fan blasts off old name in favour of Han Solo
The 34-year-old – formerly Dominic Kimberley – of Stourbridge in the West Midlands now goes by the name of the character made famous by Hollywood A-lister Harrison Ford.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, he said he had just received a bank card featuring his new title, but he was unable to get a passport because the name is based on a fictional character.

Hide AdMr Solo, a fan of the original films, said his mother Catherine was initially less than impressed but has now come around to the idea. “She said ‘you’ve gone a galaxy too far this time’,” he said. “But she saw the funny side.”
