Video: Young soldiers march on Harrogate
An army of thousands of proud relatives and friends watched on as over 400 teenagers passed out from the military training programme at the Army Foundation College, in Harrogate.
Junior Soldiers were inspected by Major General James Cowan as part of the largest military parade in Europe.

Hide AdMore than 81 per cent of the Junior soldiers, who have followed the longer 42-week course, marched off the square to the second phase of their training in the Infantry, Royal Artillery and Royal Armoured Corps.
The shorter 22-week course designed for those Junior Soldiers from other cap badges, in had a pass rate of over 90 per cent.
The short course delivers basic training to the Junior Soldiers of Burma and Alamein companies before they leave to follow their longer and more specialist technical training.
The specialist training courses help to prepare the army of young soldiers for life on the front line with a combination of military basic training and vocational training to the Junior Soldiers.

Hide AdThe junior soldiers were given the chance to work on their leadership and team skills and undertake a number of training activities.
Their challenges culminate in a 30-hour patrol across the Yorkshire Dales.
Students were also given the opportunity to sample a wide variety of sports promoting fitness and agility.
The parade is reported to be only exceeded in size by the Trooping of the Colour held in London.
