LNER train delays
Edinburgh / Newcastle / York / Leeds - London Kings Cross
A speed restriction is in place at various locations on the route between Edinburgh / York / Leeds and Grantham.
Some LNER services between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross will terminate/start at Newcastle, not calling at stations north of Newcastle.
Where services do run, your whole journey may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Due to this, restrictions for tickets dated today (Dec 21) have been lifted and tickets are valid on LNER services on throughout Thursday (Dec 21) and Friday (Dec 22).
Tree down in Leeds
Storm Pia has brought trees down across Yorkshire, including on Crowther Avenue, Calveryley, Leeds.

East Midlands Railway delays between Sheffield and Stockport due to high winds causing speed restrictions. This is causing delays on the Liverpool / Nottingham / Norwich route.
