WILLIAM Hague yesterday spoke of the difficulties of having to deny speculation about a gay affair with an aide as he said he hoped going public would “put the record straight”.
The Foreign Secretary and Richmond MP fended off a fresh round of questions at a Press conference with the German Foreign Minister yesterday, but revealed he and wife Ffion had “had enough” of “untrue allegations” circulating on the internet.
