Previte, 32, was also given 10 years for robbery.
He had denied pushing Ms Stuttle to her death from a 30ft bridge in Bundaberg, Queensland.
The service at York Minster will begin at 5.15pm with prayers led by the Dean of York.
It will feature a reading by Ms Stuttle’s brother Richard.
Her mother Marjorie Mark said that while the service at York Minster marked a decade since her daughter’s death, it was hard to believe that so much time had passed since the tragedy.
She runs a charity in her daughter’s name. It aims to raise awareness of safe travel for young people.
