HUDDERSFIELD Town head coach Carlos Corberan cut a downcast figure after his side's painful 2-1 derby loss at Barnsley - and was left to lament two costly errors from set-pieces at Oakwell

Town were punished twice by Michal Helik, who cashed in on slack marking to net twice, including a dramatic 94th-minute winner as Barnsley moved to within three points of the Championship's top-six.

The visitors had earlier led after Rarmani Edmonds-Green's first senior goal for the Terriers. But Barnsley turned the tables, with Town without an away success on Boxing Day since 2003.

Corberan commented: "Without a doubt, it is a very painful result for us as the team was competing well and really well in open play. But in two second balls in set-pieces, we did not give the answer we should give and they were focused on this.

"After the throw-in, they were really focused to create this action and we were not able to defend this set-piece situations well.

"The little details are very important. It is true that the game is not all set-pieces and we tried to attack and could not break their pressing enough. But for me, we played better in the second half than the first half.

"We did not create all the chances we wanted to create, but for me, we defended very aggressively and strongly. But in the two actions where we did not defend well, both were set-pieces and we conceded two goals."
