Bettinelli. A home debut to forget. Caught out for both goals, which sneaked past him embarrassingly. 5
Dikjsteel. Struggled with the movement of Barnsley's clever players and was hauled off at half-time. 5

Coulson. Little chance to turn on the after-burners in first half. Played as a right-wing back. 5
Wing. Had a couple of early chances, but yet to really grasp the nettle against Warnock. 5

Bola. In his first appearance at the Riverside since the last time Barnsley visited, Bola could not make an impact. 5

Browne. Put an early header wide. Handed a go up front and did not take it. Bundled a late chance off target. 5

Folarin. Brought on for his debut for Morsy with twenty to go. 6

Barnsley
Collins. Little to do in the first half and made just one standard save. Denied Tavernier and McNair on the restart. 7
Sollbauer. Nice and steady as always and no real alarms. 7

Hide AdHelik. A nice game to make his debut in - against hosts who under-whelmed. Got his head in the way of a few crosses in the second half. 7
Andersen. Employed on the left of a back three and was solid again. 7
Ludewig. Much more involved and posted threat on the right. Enjoyed himself too. 7
Mowatt. Kept it ticking over nicely. 7
Ritzmaier. More assertive than on Saturday, for sure. Encouraging. 7

Thomas. Two classy lay-offs were a joy to behold. Posed real problems. Excellent hour before Woodrow replaced him. 8
Schmidt. Gave Bettinelli the 'eyes' to score a smart opener. Impressive. Took his chance. 8
Frieser. Tested Bettinelli with a crisp early shot and was one of several to enjoy themselves immensely. 7
Substitutes: Styles. Came on for Ludewig at the interval. 6
Woodrow. Entered the fray for the final half-hour. 6
Halme. Came on for Sollbauer twenty minutes from time. 6
