Huddersfield Town 0 Bristol Rovers 0: Clark left frustrated after Town fail to click
It wasn't that Jordan Rhodes, this season's 17-goal hero, or Lee Novak were particularly bad, more so a desperate performance that needed desperate action.
Town failed to create much throughout the first half and within minutes of the restart it was clear nothing much had changed.

Hide AdClark replaced Rhodes and Novak with Theo Robinson and Robbie Simpson, who would probably have been his first- choice strikers when he signed them in the summer.
A loss of confidence from Robinson and injury to Simpson meant that wasn't how it turned out and, unfortunately for Clark, neither could turn round a dismal performance.
Clark always cuts a frustrated figure on the touchline but the distress signals were obvious as he was joined in the technical area by an equally-anxious management team of Terry McDermott, Derek Fazackerley and Steve Black.
But they still couldn't conjure any magic from Town's players and it was all they could do to maintain their unbeaten home record and collect another clean sheet.

Mark Wright went close for Rovers after defying an offside claim and Gary Roberts fired wide for Town.
The only chances of note in the second half came when Town captain Peter Clarke had a drive turned round the post by Andersen and the home side were saved by Alex Smithies who parried Chris Lines's effort onto his near post late on.
