Huddersfield Town offer for influential midfielder is 'rejected' by League One rivals

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have reportedly seen a bid turned down from League One rivals Bristol Rovers for key midfielder Antony Evans.

The Liverpool-born player is about to enter the final year of his contract at the Memorial Stadium and Rovers' resolve has been tested following an offer from Town, which has been rejected according to Bristol Live.

Evans, 25, is the reigning player of the year at Rovers after scoring 10 goals and contributing nine assists in 52 games last term - and was widely considered to be the most consistent performer for the club in a mixed 2023-24 campaign from a team perspective.
