Ipswich Town 1 Leeds United 2: McCormack earns praise from Whites chief
Scott Wootton was named a substitute after his move to United in midweek. Sam Byram (hip) is still out, with El-Hadji Diouf also on the bench after boosting his fitness playing 90 minutes for the reserves on Monday.
David McGoldrick gave the hosts a 12th minute lead, but Luke Varney soon equalised for the Whites.

Hide AdMcCormack, subject of three failed bids from Middlesbrough, played a massive part in Leeds’s equaliser after they fell behind to a great strike from David McGoldrick on 11 minutes.
The striker took aim from 25 yards and his speculative effort cannoned off Luke Chambers and into the path of Varney, who made no mistake.
McCormack then grabbed a winner with a 20-yarder to leave manager Brian McDermott full of praise.
“Ross is a quality player who scored a quality goal,” he said.
