Steve Evans on departure of first-team staff members at League One side Rotherham United

ROTHERHAM United have announced that first-team staff members Dan Green and Scott Brown have both left the League One outfit.

The duo were brought to the club by former manager Matt Taylor – now at Bristol Rovers – and following talks with manager Steve Evans and key club personnel, they have now departed.

Goalkeeping coach Brown arrived at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in November 2022 after moving from Exeter City, while Green left Aston Villa’s youth set-up to take up a position as first-team strategic development coach with the Millers in the following summer.

On their departure, Evans said: “I’d like to place on record my thanks to Dan and Scotty for their efforts towards the end of last season and on half of everyone at Rotherham United, for the entirety of their time with the club.”
