The pain was double for City with defender David McGurk stretchered off in the build-up to Harrad’s goal.
But York, who threw wantaway striker Jamie Reed and Jon Challinor in their bid to hit back dig deep and they were rewarded when Walker plundered his eighth goal of the campaign with a close-range finish.
