Leeds Rhinos: Prop Singleton jumps at the chance to sign contract extension
The 25-year-old prop said he jumped at the chance to extend his previous contract by 12 months.
“It was not a hard decision given the size of the club and how long I have been here,” said the Barrow-born forward, who has missed just one game this season.

“It was an easy decision for us and it is great to get it out of the way early so it does not become an issue moving forward.”
He added: “When I look around Emerald Headingley, it is hard to take in the size of the new stands and imagine what it will be like when it is finished.
“It is going to be up there with the top stadiums in the country and I can’t wait.”

“The fans and ourselves are adjusting to the new look and feel of Emerald Headingley this season while the construction work is going on,” Singleton said.
“We will get used to it as the season goes on.
“The walk from our dressing room in the cricket East Stand has been a unique experience.
“You get to see all the fans as you are heading down towards the pitch, home and away and I enjoy it.

“You get a little heckle from the away fans and they are two feet away and it makes it a unique feeling this season.
“The more work that is completed the better the atmosphere will be.”
